Allison Janney Cast in Mystery ‘Lost’ Role

Wow! This is just TRULY AMAZING! Allison Janney will appear on the mysterious May 11 episode of Lost.
This installment (titled “Across the Sea”) is unique, even for Lost because it will feature no regulars from the show’s first five seasons. WHAT?!?! How amazing is that?!?!
So, what do we know about her character? Producer Carlton Cuse will simply say Janney’s role required “incredible presence,” while Damon Lindelof adds:
“We’ve been talking about this character for awhile and how nervous we were that we wouldn’t find the right actress. When we first started talking about this character in the writers room we called her ‘Allison Janney’ under the assumption that we wouldn’t be able to get her.”
I can’t wait! This is again TRULY AMAZING!

Joanna Garcia to Leapfrog on ABC

Joanna Garcia, who most recently guest starred on Gossip Girl and lead the CW’s short-lived Privileged and starred on Reba has been cast in ABC’s comedy pilot LEAPFROG.
Leapfrog is a comedy about two sisters at different stages in their romantic relationships – Joanna Garcia stars as Mia who gets pregnant and marries Casey, her boyfriend of seven and a half weeks. Jennifer Finnigan will play Maddie, who’s in a happy, long-term relationship with Ben but isn’t married.
OMG! Let’s hope it gets picked up!!woot woot!
ABC Pilot Pick Ups for Fall 2010-2011 pt. 1

Pilot season is just around the corner and TV networks are gearing up for Fall 2010-2011 TV season!! This is BY FAR THE BEST TIME OF YEAR FOR ME!! Its soooo exciting!! I love guessing which pilots will get picked up and which ones will bite the dust.
So far ABC has picked up 3 pilots, dramas “Off the Map” and “Body of Evidence,” both from ABC Studios, and comedy “Happy Endings,”from Sony TV and Fanfare.
Off the Map, from executive producer Shonda Rhimes and ABC Studios, revolves around three doctors, each anxious for a fresh start. They leave the comfort of the States to work at an isolated tropical clinic, where they face both exotic and unusual medical challenges as well as personal ones.
Body of Evidence is a procedural that centers on Megan Hunt, a former neurosurgeon-turned-medical examiner who brings a unique and crime-solving perspective to the ME’s office that often puts her at odds with her superiors.
Happy Endings is single-camera comedy centers on a couple that breaks up at the altar, forcing them and their group of friends to figure out how to maintain their friendships after the split.
