Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh snap! I am SOOOOOOOO EXCITED for the season two premiere of Covert Affairs on Tuesday, June 7th. Like I TOTALLY can’t wait! I heart Piper Perabo so much! I’ve loved her since Coyote Ugly and was BEYOND excited when she got cast as the lead in Covert Affairs and even more excited about HOW FREAKING GOOD IT IS! HOLY COW! I heart this show. I am super excited for season 2 and I LOVE the new promo pic. CHECK. IT. OUT. Under Cover Girl. Heyyyyyyyyyyy!!!
Also what’s more exciting is the guest stars they have lined up: Mark Moses (Desperate Housewives) as a NASA bigwig, Rena Sofer (NCIS) as the ex-wife of Peter Gallagher’s Arthur, Ben Lawson (The Deep End) as a Doctors Without Borders-type physician, and Oded Fehr (Sleeper Cell) reprising his role of Israeli spy Eyal Lavine. USA announced today that White Collar and Covert Affairs will return Tuesday, June 7th. WOOT WOOT!! White Collar Season 3 will air at 9pm/8pm and Covert Affairs Season 2 will follow at 10pm/9pm.

’24′ Villian Gregory Itzin Join ‘Covert Affairs’ on USA

Ohhhh snap!! 24′s bad guy Gregory Itzin who played President Charles Logan on the now canceled drama has booked a multi-episode arc on the new USA drama Covert Affairs.
Itzin has been cast as Henry Wilcox, the distinguished former Director of Clandestine Services and the father of Heroes’ Sendhil Ramamurthy’s character, Jai. He’s playing a good guy! FINALLY!
Covert Affairs stars Coyote Ugly Piper Perabo and Ugly Betty’s Christopher Gorham and premieres July 13 on USA.
USA Picks Up Covert Affairs

USA has given an 11 episode order to Covert Affairs starring Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham! Woot Woot!
Covert Affairs is about a CIA trainee, Annie Walker (Piper Perabo), who unexpectedly gets promoted to field operative while reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be a particular interest to her agency bosses.
Christoper will play a CIA military intelligence/special-ops agent blinded years ago on an assignment who is helping Annie Walker navigate her new job.
No word on when the show will premiere. I’m so excited! I love Christopher Gorham and Piper Perabo!!
