‘Chase’ Star Kelli Giddish Cops Role on ‘Law & Order: SVU’

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLY CHEESE WIZ! This is AWESOME! Just AWESOME! I LOVE Kelli Giddish! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! She was AMAZING on Chase! I was so sad NBC cancelled it BUT then glad when CBS’s The Good Wife added her as a recurring character but now even more THRILLED she is returning to TV fulltime on SVU.
Giddish will play a new detective. Along with Giddish, Cold Case alum Dany Pino has grabbed the other new detective role that will take over for Chris Meloni, who decided not to renew his contract. I am sadden by the news that Meloni is leaving but EXCITED to see SVU bring in some fresh talent. I guess I am NOT the only one.
“Kelli and Danny are two great actors who will join a proven cast headed by Mariska Hargitay as this exceptional series heads into a very promising 13th season,” Greenblatt said. Added exec producer/creator Wolf: “I’m very pleased that we have two amazing actors joining the cast. I know this combination will give us the opportunity to explore the world of SVU with new eyes.”
I am NOW looking forward to SVU next season. It was getting stale for a while but these new additions could definitely make the show more interesting. At least, I hope so!
Michelle Trachtenberg is a Drug Dealer! HOLLERRRRR!!!

Ohhhhhhhhhh snap! Michelle Trachtenberg has gone from being a “devious Upper East Sider” to now being a “a sexy, intelligent, low-level, pot-dealing rival” to Nancy (Mary Louise Parker). Ha! AMAZING! I LOVE Michelle. She’s so good at what she does and so much fun to watch.
Trachtenberg will appear in at least two episodes of Weeds‘ time-jumping seventh season. The action picks up tbree years later following Nancy completing her three-year prison sentence for murder. She’s now looking to reboot her drug biz in the Big Apple. HOLLERRRRRR!
I miss Weeds. I may have to start watching again! Ha! Too bad I don’t have Showtime.

My JUST SEE TV tonight is soooooo GOOD!!! SO GOOD! It’s the one, the only, the GREATEST show of all time Pretty Little Liars. LITERALLY! I’ve never enjoyed a TV show so much and this is saying A LOT because I am OBSESSED with a lot of shows but I must admit I would trade them all in for this show. I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH. I can’t EVER miss an episode or NOT be home to watch it.

Ohhhhhh snap! ABC has released their fall schedule and OMG it’s AMAZING! AH-MAH-ZING! Seriously, I am sooooo excited for fall. Even though there is NO Cougar Town until mid-season, I am still loving the schedule. Two hour premiere of Grey’s, one hour premiere of Modern Family and the premieres of Revenge, Pan Am and Once Upon A Time.
Being held off until midseason will be Cougar Town (moving to Tuesdays following DWTS), Shark Tank, Apartment 23, Good Christian Belles, Missing, The River, Scandal and Work It.

My JUST SEE TV of the night is Single Ladies. I KNOW! SHOCKING! I didn’t think I was going to like it and yet I LOVED IT! Stacey Dash is just GORGEOUS and this role is Absolutely PERFECT for her. She’s just so much fun to watch. And let’s be honest, we ALL secretly LOVE LisaRaye and her “acting” LOL!! And I am REALLY LOVING Charity Shea. She’s GREAT as April. I really LOVE her bangs, too. But seriously, the show really is interesting. I love all the characters and I am SO INVESTED in their lives. I literally get excited on Sunday because I know Monday is just around the corner.

Fox Fall Premiere Is HERE!! I Can’t Wait for ‘The X Factor’ on September 21!!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAH! Fox is going to be pretty AWESOME this fall. They have some really fun stuff going on. Lots of new goodies and a lots oldies returning. Most importantly, Bones is back and Fringe is back and Glee is back! HOLLERRRRR!!! And the new crops of shows are pretty RAD. I Hate My Teenage Daughter is SO FUNNY. New Girl is HILARIOIS and it’s going to be fun to see both Deschanel sisters on TV together! WOOT WOOT! And the BIGGEST, BESTEST show of them all is The X Factor. Oh, how I’ve been waiting for this show. I miss Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul on TV and the return of Nicole Scherzinger to TV is most exciting. I love how CRAZY she is. I can’t wait for fall TV.

According to TVLine, Edelstein will play a lawyer and born poker player whose sexiness is enhanced by her obvious intelligence. There’s talk that her character turns up during the early part of The Good Wife’s third season. SOONER THE BETTER, right!?!? Her character shares a past with Will (Josh Charles). SOUNDS JUICY!!
